2. Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
3. You will land on your Dashboard, which serves as your main hub for analytics and performance.

If you are a first time user

2. Enter your email and password.
3. Enter your Company name, website, Phone number and click Create Account

5. You will land on your Dashboard, which serves as your main hub for analytics and performance.

### Step 2: Connect Your Store (Shopify or Custom)

**Klaviyo syncs customer profiles, order history, and product data automatically.**

#### **Option A: Shopify Users**

1. In Klaviyo’s left sidebar, click Integrations.
2. Explore Apps (top right) Search for and select one you need (Shopify or Enable3).
3. Click Install (or Add Integration).
4. Enter your store URL when prompted and click Install App to grant permissions.

#### **Option B: Custom / Other Platforms**

1. Go to Settings (click your account name in the bottom-left corner) → API Keys.
2. Click Create Private API Key.
3. Name your key (e.g., Platform Integration) and set the access scopes for Profiles, Events, and Catalogs.
4. Copy the generated key for your developer or integration setup.

### Step 3: Set Up Communication Channels

Before sending messages or triggering campaigns from Enable3, ensure that the channels you plan to use are active in Klaviyo. Enable3 supports 4 communication channels: Email, SMS, Push Notifications, and WhatsApp.

**1. Email (Required)**

* Go to Settings → Account → Email Settings.
* Fill in the default sender details: Default Sender Name and Default Sender Email.
* Note: Klaviyo and Enable3 cannot deliver emails without a verified sender address.

**2. SMS, Push Notifications & WhatsApp**

* In the same Settings menu, select the channel tab you want to configure: SMS, Push Notifications, or WhatsApp.
* Click Turn On or Set Up and follow the step-by-step instructions.
* Ensure the channel status displays as Active.

{% hint style="info" %}
If a channel is inactive or disabled in Klaviyo, Enable3 will block you from selecting it in the Campaign Builder.
{% endhint %}

### Step 4: Link Klaviyo to Enable3

Once your channels are configured in Klaviyo, connect your account to Enable3 to start using Klaviyo data and templates inside Enable3 campaigns.

#### **For Shopify Users:**

1. Open the Enable3 platform and go to Integrations → Klaviyo.
2. Click Connect Klaviyo.
3. Log in with your Klaviyo credentials and grant permission to connect.

#### **For Custom Platform Users:**

1. In Klaviyo, go to Settings → API Keys → Create Private API Key.
2. Select Custom Key and assign Read / Write permissions for Profiles, Events, Campaigns/Messages, and Read permission for Templates.
3. Copy the Private API Key (pk\_...).
4. In Enable3, go to Integrations → Klaviyo, paste the key, and click Save & Test Connection.

### Step 5: Build Your Audience & Lists

A list is where your subscribers live. Enable3 can target these lists or sync user profiles automatically.

1. In Klaviyo's left sidebar, click Audience → Lists.
2. Click Create List (top right).
3. Name it clearly (e.g., Newsletter Subscribers or Main Customer List) and click Create.

**Adding Subscribers:**

* Automatic: Shopify customers sync to your main list automatically once the store integration is active.
* Import CSV: Inside your list, click Add Profiles → Import and upload a CSV file with customer emails/phone numbers.
* Manual: Click Add Profiles → Add Manually to test with your own contact info.

### Step 6: Create Message Templates (For Klaviyo & Enable3)

**Enable3 pulls designs and copy directly from your Klaviyo template library**. You must build your templates in Klaviyo first.

**For Email:**

1. In Klaviyo’s sidebar, go to Content → Templates.
2. Click Create Template.
3. Use the Drag-and-Drop Editor to add your header logo, text copy, CTA buttons, and mandatory unsubscribe links in the footer.
4. Click Save Template.

Result: This template will automatically appear in the dropdown menu inside Enable3 when building a campaign.

**For WhatsApp:**

1. Go to Content - Templates - open the WhatsApp tab.
2. Click Create WhatsApp Template.
3. Write your message body and click Submit for Approval.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Per Meta/WhatsApp regulations, outbound business messages sent outside a 24-hour customer interaction window require pre-approval. Wait until the template status in Klaviyo changes to Approved before selecting it in Enable3.
{% endhint %}

**For SMS and Push Notifications**:

There is no standalone template option for SMS or Push in Klaviyo. You have 2 options to create and reuse SMS and Push content.

***Option 1: Create and send via Campaigns***

1. In the left sidebar, go to Campaigns.
2. Click Create Campaign and select SMS or Push Notification as the channel.
3. Name your campaign and click Continue.
4. In the message editor, write your SMS copy or Push content, add any dynamic tags (for example, first name), and configure your opt-out language.
5. Select your audience, set your send time, and click Schedule or Send Now.

Result: Your message is created and sent directly within the campaign. There is no separate template saved, but you can clone the campaign later to reuse the content.

***Option 2: Create reusable content via Flows***

1. In the left sidebar, go to Flows.
2. Open an existing flow or click Create Flow to build a new one.
3. Inside the flow builder, drag an SMS or Push Notification action step onto the canvas.
4. Click the step to open the message editor.
5. Write your message content, add dynamic tags, and configure opt-out language.
6. Click Save to store the message within that flow step.

Result: The message lives inside the flow and triggers automatically based on the flow conditions. To reuse it, clone the flow or copy the step into another flow.

### Step 7: Create & Send a Campaign in Klaviyo

If you choose to run a campaign directly inside Klaviyo (instead of through Enable3):

1. In the left sidebar, click Campaigns → Create Campaign.
2. Select your channel (e.g., Email or SMS).
3. Recipients: Choose the target list you created in Step 5.
4. Content: Click Select Template and pick a template from Step 6.
5. Subject & Sender: Enter your subject line, preview text, and confirm your From Name and From Email.
6. Preview: Click Preview (top right) to inspect Desktop and Mobile views and test all links.
7. Send or Schedule: Click Send Immediately or select Schedule to pick a future time and date.

### Step 8: Set Up Automated Flows in Klaviyo

Automated flows trigger emails or SMS automatically based on customer actions (e.g., joining a list or completing a purchase).

1. In the left sidebar, click Flows → Create Flow.
2. Choose a pre-built template (e.g., Welcome Series or Post-Purchase) or click Build from Scratch.
3. Configure Trigger: Set the action that starts the flow (e.g., When someone joins "Newsletter Subscribers").
4. Add Time Delays: Drag in time delays (e.g., Wait 1 day).
5. Attach Templates: Select the email or SMS template to be delivered at each step.
6. Activate: Toggle the flow status from Draft to Live.

### Step 9: Monitor Performance

Track delivery and engagement stats across both native Klaviyo campaigns and messages triggered via Enable3:

1. In Klaviyo, navigate to Campaigns or Flows.
2. Click on any specific campaign or flow name to view analytics:
3. Delivered: Total messages successfully sent.
4. Open Rate: Percentage of recipients who opened your email.
5. Click Rate: Percentage of recipients who clicked a link.
6. Unsubscribe / Spam Rate: Percentage of users who opted out.
